The panels are high-density pressed felt, rigid enough to be structural on their own. They lock together with wooden dowels, so the tower assembles in a few minutes without screws, tools or an internal frame.

Built to Survive Claws

Traditional cat trees rely on sisal rope that frays, unwinds and needs replacing. The vertical ribbing pressed into these felt panels serves the same scratching function as part of the structure itself — nothing to come loose, nothing for a customer to photograph in a two-star review.

Felt also resists the two failure modes that drive returns in this category: it does not shed onto floors, and it does not flatten or sag over time the way plush-covered board does.
