Testing and compliance requirements depend on the product, materials and destination market. We confirm these requirements per project rather than making blanket certification claims.
Depending on the product and market, requirements may include textile or material testing, REACH-related requirements for EU markets, flammability testing where applicable, product-specific testing or third-party inspection.
Third-party inspections can be arranged through SGS, BV or another inspector agreed with the buyer. Where testing is required, it can be arranged before shipment. We will confirm applicable requirements based on the specific product and destination market.

1. Are you a factory or a trading company?
Calfei has an established supply chain for textile-based pet products and also works with specialized manufacturing partners for other product categories.
Different pet products require different production expertise — from textiles and foam to wood, metal frames and molded components. By combining these manufacturing capabilities, we can support a broader range of pet products and provide flexible OEM and ODM solutions for different projects.
2. What is your minimum order quantity?
MOQ depends on the product, materials and level of customization. For selected ready-to-produce items, trial orders can start from around 20–100 pcs. For most customized products, typical MOQs are around 100–500 pcs, depending on materials, colors, sizes, packaging and tooling. If your target quantity is lower than the standard MOQ, let us know. We can often suggest an existing material, simplified packaging or another production option that works better for a trial order.3. Can I order samples, and what do they cost?
Yes. Sample costs depend on the product and customization required. Stock samples are generally charged at the product sample cost plus courier fees, while customized samples may include an additional development fee. For selected projects, the sample fee may be credited back after a bulk order is placed. Typical sample lead time is around 7–15 days, depending on the product and customization.4. Do you support Amazon FBA?
Yes. We can support Amazon sellers with FNSKU labeling, packaging and carton labeling, as well as shipment preparation based on Amazon FBA requirements. Depending on the project and destination, goods can be shipped directly to an Amazon fulfillment center or through your designated prep center or warehouse.5. What are your payment terms?
Standard payment terms are typically 30% deposit and 70% balance before shipment by T/T. Payment terms may vary depending on the product, order value and project requirements, and the final terms will always be confirmed clearly in the quotation before the order is placed.6. How long does production take?
Bulk production typically takes around 25–40 days after sample approval and deposit, depending on the product, quantity, materials and season. Customized materials, packaging or tooling may require additional time. During peak production periods, we will confirm any expected impact on lead time before the order is finalized.7. How do we start if I only want to test a product first?
That’s completely fine. Many new product projects start with a small trial order rather than a full product range.
